Tutoring

As you might have read in my Bio, I run a small personal tutoring business from home. I have tutored high school level students in Honors Chemistry, AP Biology, a variety of 9th-11th grade Math courses, SAT Math Prep and, college level students in Anatomy/Physiology, Cell Biology and Molecular Biology. I live in Marple Township, Pa near the Community College of Delaware County. I will travel to your home for in house tutoring or I can meet students at a public place like the Library, the Community College or at my Personal Training Facility. I believe in academic excellence but I also believe that physical activity is necessary in order to ultimately achieve a high level of academic performance. Thus, I also offer combined physical training/tutoring packages, customized to your liking. The rates for these programs are described below.

$35/one hour of tutoring (at your home or where you choose)
$70/one hour of tutoring followed by one hour of private student exercise (at my training facility)
or:
$45/one hour of parent exercise (on your own, without Dr. J present) while student is being tutored
(parents will receive one hour of free introduction to the gym equipment in this case)
(this is the total fee for the combined parent exercising and student tutoring in the same hour)
or:
$50/one hour of parent exercise with a friend (on your own, without Dr. J present) while student is being tutored
(parents will receive one hour of free introduction to the gym equipment in this case)
(this is the total fee for the combined parent and friend exercising, and student tutoring in the same hour)
or:
$75/one hour of tutoring followed by one hour of combined student and parent exercise (with Dr. J present)
(this is the total fee for the combined tutoring session followed by the parent and student exercising)
or:
$65/one hour of tutoring followed by one hour of parent and student exercise (on your own, without Dr. J present)
(parents will receive one hour of free introduction to the gym equipment in this case)
(this is the total fee for the combined tutoring session followed by the parent and student exercising)

Group tutoring is also available
Afternoon, evening and some weekend hours are available

The length of time for tutoring sessions and/or exercise sessions can be changed to meet your needs. Contact me to talk about this.
